Frequently Asked Questions

Scar reduction treatments can address various types of scars, including acne scars, surgical scars, injury scars, and stretch marks. Your provider will recommend the best treatment based on your specific needs.
The number of sessions required depends on the size, type, and severity of the scar. Some patients see significant improvement after just one session, while others may require multiple treatments for optimal results.
Downtime varies depending on the type of treatment used. Some procedures, like laser therapy or microneedling, may cause mild redness or swelling for a few days, but most patients can resume their normal activities shortly after.
Scar reduction treatments significantly improve the appearance of scars, and the results are typically long-lasting. However, depending on the treatment, additional sessions or maintenance may be recommended for optimal results.
Most scar reduction treatments cause minimal discomfort, though this can vary depending on the procedure. Numbing creams or local anesthesia may be used to ensure your comfort during the session.
