Seeker Dermatology FAQs
Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology in Austin, TX
We’re located at 12200 Renfert Way Suite 100, Austin TX 78758. We share a suite with
Austin Area OBGYN in the Women’s Center Tower of St. David’s North Austin Medical
Center off Mopac. You can park free of charge in our designated parking lot, located nearest to the East
entrance. We also offer complimentary valet parking.
We accept most major insurance plans including Medicare. We are out of network with all
Dell, Seton, and Ascension plans. Medicaid and HMO plans require a referral from your
primary care provider. To determine if you are in-network or require a referral, or what
services are covered by your plan, a quick call directly to your insurance company should
help answer those questions.
For full-body skin checks we ask that you arrive without makeup or nail polish and wearing loose-fitting clothing. We will have you change into a robe so that the provider can easily check your entire body to your comfort level. If any biopsies or lab work is necessary, we will explain the process and why you need them.
For problem visits, we will take your history and do a focused exam of the area of concern.
Please come prepared to discuss your current medications, medical history, and family history if possible.
For most people, a yearly full-body skin check is recommended. If you are receiving treatments for skin, hair or nail conditions, or cosmetic/aesthetic treatments, your provider will recommend the appropriate length of time between your visits.
Seeker Dermatology and Aesthetics treats a wide range of medical and cosmetic conditions including skin cancer, eczema, acne, hair loss, rosacea, melasma, psoriasis, and more. We also offer injectables and top of the line lasers and cosmetic treatments. Please see our menu of services or call to learn more.
